Ed and Roberta live in a Victorian-era farmhouse in Haymarket, Virginia, where about half their 1.5 acre yard is maintained in traditional suburban fashion and about half is wildlife habitat. Ed has a pond inhabited by some 20 koi and orfes. Moki, a Samoyed rescued by Tarheel Samoyed Rescue, lives there, too.
